  1. I’m Jack Anton and I’m 17 years old. For the rest of the year I will be doing mostly ITFs and ATP Futures Events around the world. Some of my accomplishments are that I was ranked #1 in Texas for 3 years in a row in Singles and Doubles.
I have moved to Florida last year and am currently being coached by Tarik Benhabiles and train full time with him. In the last year my record is 81-35 with 5 singles titles and 3 doubles titles. I have made 12 Finals, 5
Semifinals, and 11 Quarterfinals. I played the wildcard tournament for the ATP Delray ITC $500,000 tournament where I made the Round of 16. I really need a full sponsorship because lately I have been unable to afford new equipment do to family issues but any help would be great. I am sponsored by Adidas and Babolat Currently.

    Thank you,
    Jack Anton

  5. Hello, my name is Paul Kinn. My friend and I are starting a stringing company to fill the void of not having a local string shop around. I am located in Pulaski , New York and the nearest pro shop is 45 miles away. I currently play on my local high school team. My friend was a former player on the nationally ranked Onondaga Community College team and now plays for SUNY Oswego. After listening to the players, the strings that are in the most demand are a polyester and multifilament or synthetic gut. I was wondering if you would be interested in sending some samples of your string so my customers can give me feedback on them. What the ultimate goal is, is for our customers to let us know what they like and ultimately do the bulk of our business through your company. Thank you for your time.

    • Chris,

Thank you for visiting our blog. I am the US distributor for MSV string products and am the person who monitors the blog to respond to questions. Unfortunately I have not hit with either of the strings you ask for comparison and am unable to answer the question. It’s unusual because I’ve hit with virtually every string on the market, yet you managed to find two that I have not hit. Wish I could be of greater assistance.

      • hahaha thank you anyways!
if you ever get a chance to hit with those strings or find anyone who has hit with all 3 or something like that, can you tell me how it compares??
or would it be possible for a sample for me to test out and compare??
thank you for the honest answer!

  12. Hi, I just bought two sets of MSV focus Hex this week from you. I read somewhere that the cross string is strung 2 1/2 lbs. lower than the main string for hybrid stringing. I will use the MSV focus Hex for the mains. How many lbs. should I string the cross string?

Comment by Albert Austria | April 15, 2010 | Reply

    • Whether tension is adjusted on the cross string depends upon a number of factors. What are you trying to achieve with the hybrid? this is the number one concern. There is no magic number or formula and the type of cross string being used and the desired results will determine the tension. It can be the same tension or sometimes higher or lower…again it depends.

  13. BTW, I will use Topspin Cyber Blue as cross string and MSV Focus Hex as main string.

    thanks.

Comment by Albert Austria | April 15, 2010 | Reply

    • The particular hybrid you are describing does not make sense to me. I can not determine what you hope to achieve by blending a high quality MSV offering with one of those Topspin string products. IMO you would be better off with the overall quality that would be achieved with a full MSV setup.

  14. I’m in absolute love with your strings, specifically MSV Focus Hex 17. Is there anyway that I can get a partial sponsorship to buy more? I’d hate to buy a reel since I cannot afford to do so, but being able to purchase sets with a discount would be perfect! Also, I am a string dealer for my district and would be obliged to spread the good news about such a great string! Anything you can do would be appreciated. Thanks!
