In an effort to be responsive to customer requests, Mauve Sport Versand is pleased to add MSV Focus Hex in 1.27mm to its stellar lineup of string products. The 1.27mm version will eventually be available in white, black and red. We project it should be available for our customers in the USA in white by early May, 2008. As soon as it is available a notice will be posted here. If you would like to be personally notified via email when it arrives, please contact us.
Also scheduled to arrive in early May will be the new MSV Focus-EVO in 1.20mm, 1.25mm and 1.30mm. You’re gonna luv these new products from MSV!

hi looking for the specs on focus hex esp 1.23 looking for stiffness rating on some scale tell me which scale you are using so i can compare with other strings please so far they feel great dk

Thank you for looking at our blog! Using an ERT 700, the resulting stringbed stiffness in identical racquets at identical tensions the MSV Hex measures 1 – 1.5 DT points softer than Luxilon ALU.
We believe the USRSA testing procedures DO NOT reflect actual stringbed stiffness. Rather they measure a foot long section of string for their data. Some of the results of this show strings that we know for a fact are softer than others to be stiffer. We consider this data inaccurate and misleading. The true measure of stiffness should be in the context of an entire stringbed vs. a 1′ section of string. As the distributor of MSV products in the USA, our strings will not appear in their tests until the methods are revised to reflect actual stringbed stiffness readings.
This leads to the question…if the strings feel and play great and the data reflected something different than your personal experience, would your opinion change?
